Not all stormwater ponds are created equal. Traditional ponds are surrounded by shallow-rooted turf that increases erosion and the need for costly dredging down the line. Turfed edges also allow pollutants like grass clippings, fertilizer runoff, and animal waste to easily enter water bodies, causing algal blooms that impact aesthetics, require costly treatments, kill aquatic species, and attract geese and other undesirable waterfowl. Learn how to improve your stormwater pond, save money on maintenance, and perform reporting like a pro at tonight's Stormwater Week webinar.
